Our Monday, Wedesday, Friday classes visited the Planetarium at Parkland College on Friday, October
2, 2009. We watched a show that taught us all about different shapes in the stars. We saw triangles, squares,
rectangles, circles, W, and V's. Then we watched stars turn into different animals and people! After our show,
we had a picnic lunch. It was super windy that day. But the kids enjoyed our field trip! The Tuesday, Thursday classes visited Hardy's Reindeer Ranch in Rantoul on Thursday,
October 1, 2009. We fed the reindeer, played on the playground, jumped in the hay, had a hayride, snack and picked out
pumpkins. We went to a park for a picnic lunch. It was a little cold and sprinkling, yet we still had a great
time.
