Our Monday, Wedesday, Friday classes visited Curtis Orchard on Friday, October 6. We had lots
of great parents and grandparents to help us get there. We had a tour where we learned how bee's help apples grow
and how they make honey. We also learned how to pick an apple, how they are washed and juiced. After the tour
we had a great snack...apple doughnuts and apple cider. We played in the playground, went through the maze, fed the
animals and then went to the pumpkin patch to pick our own pumpkins. Once we had our own pumpkins picked right off the
vine, we had our picnic lunch, played a little more and then headed back to school. It was a beautiful day! The Tuesday, Thursday classes visited Hardy's Reindeer Ranch in Rantoul on Thursday,
October 9. We fed the reindeer, played on the playground, jumped in the hay, had a hayride, snack and picked out pumpkins.
We went to the McDonald's Playland for lunch. It was a great time.
